Home Sheds Residential Sheds
Residential Sheds

A shed built for your property and how you actually use it.

From a single garage to a large home workshop with three-phase power, MRN Sheds designs, permits, and builds residential structures across Southern NSW and North East Victoria.

Wymah NSW
Residential Sheds

You choose the space. We design it, build it and take care of the rest.

Most shed companies will sell you a kit and leave the rest to you the permits, the slab, the trades. MRN Sheds is a licensed builder, which means we take on the whole process. You deal with one team from the first conversation to the day we hand you the keys.

Every residential shed we build is designed around your site, your council’s requirements, and how you’ll actually use the space. A garage that doubles as a workshop needs a different approach to a backyard storage shed we ask the right questions at the start so the finished structure works the way you need it to.

Don’t take our word for it

T. Doddridge

MRN Rigging and construction recently designed and built my new dream shed in East Albury. Jordan and the MRN team shared their experience and knowledge and ideas to help me come up with the ideal shed and features to suit my business. The shed is my workshop and perfect storage solution and suits my block and surrounds perfectly. Jordan and Mitch have the best trades people on their team and their chosen subcontractors were all excellent, skilled, punctual and great workers.
I can highly recommend MRN, they made the whole process of design and building and construction streamlined and stress free. I have also worked in one of their large shed constructions and these guys are amazing at what they do and can do.
From a workshop shed like mine to a huge industrial complex MRN have the proven skills and knowledge to build what they promise. A great shed!
Thank you Jordan, Mitch and the MRN team! you guys rock!

D. Penglis

After looking at some photos from MRN my shed is a baby at 18×9×3.2, but what a fantastic job Mitch and the team did. Communication was foremost from the office and Mitch gave updates along the way.
Very professional, precise work and my shed will be there for a long time. 6 months later and the power has finally been connected and the boys dropped in after a hard days work to calibrate the roller doors as part of the service. Highly recommend MRN for your shed adventure.

K. Thomas

Mitchell and his team are exceptional, professional and nothing is too much trouble. Kept us informed every step of the way. Highly recommended this team to build the shed of your dreams. 10 ⭐️

B. Armstrong

These guys put up a 152 x 21 metre feed shed here . Great bunch of blokes whose attention to detail was second to none. These guys are perfectionists,

Questions about MRN’s project management service

In most cases yes even residential sheds over a certain floor area require a building permit. The rules vary between councils and between NSW and VIC. MRN manages all permit applications in-house so you don’t have to deal with council directly.

Yes the concrete slab is included and co-ordinated by MRN as part of the build. We don’t quote the shed and then leave you to find a concreter. The slab is engineered to suit your site and soil conditions.

The most variable part of the timeline is council permits which can take anywhere from 2 weeks to several months depending on the council and application complexity. Once permits are in hand, installation typically takes 1–3 days for standard residential sheds. We give realistic timelines at the quoting stage.

Yes MRN Sheds holds a builder licence in both NSW and Victoria. We build in Wodonga, Wangaratta, Shepparton, and across North East Victoria regularly.

We use Colorbond steel the full Colorbond colour range is available for cladding, roofing, trim, and gutters. We can also match an existing structure on your property.

Yes the designer is a starting point, not a commitment. If your design changes when you talk to us, that’s completely fine. Submitting a design just gives our team a starting point for the conversation.

Yes both are available and should be discussed at the design stage so they can be incorporated correctly into the structure. Insulation (thermal and acoustic) and electrical rough-in including three-phase can all be included in your build.

Cheaper quotes often exclude permits, the concrete slab, engineering, or installation. MRN quotes in full if you’d like to compare line by line, we’re happy to sit down and go through both quotes together so you’re comparing on equal terms.

easier to work with.

Rough idea or not tell us what you’re building and we’ll take it from there.
